Working hard on a rocky river

Working hard today. It`s difficult some times, to get what I really want. But I think I did some progress after all. A rocky river is always a challenge to paint. In never give up :-) 18th of December - 11

News from my Easel, 3/12-11

One of my favorite places from childhood, the small river "Galtetjennbekken" in Siljan. I`v been making many paintings from this river. By the way, they`r all sold. This one will soon be available in a future exhibition. 

I just have to finish it first :-)

My painting "HØSTGLEDE" a gift to Kongsvinger. A project created by art collector Rolf Nordli.

My painting "HØSTGLEDE" was placed in The Library of Kongsvinger by Major Arve Bones. A wonderful event for every citizen living in Kongsvinger. A great Event created by my good friend and supporter Rolf Nordli.  
Major Arve Bones and the coordinator for this event, Uno Arnesen.

Thanks to the investors, every citizen in Kongsvinger will have the pleasure of this painting. Everyone visiting the library can experience the beautiful fall colors all year round.

Music by Sinikka Langeland. She`s a folksinger, kantele player and composer who lives in Finnskogen, Norway. Due to her remarkable vocal and concert-kantele technique, she has been described as sounding like a whole orchestra all by herself.

Today I`m trying to get it as cold as possible. Hopefully it would be even colder :-)

In October I`ll have my art show in Svarstad. On this wonderful trip I got inspired to paint :-)
